The Defender II: Doom II Wad

After many months of mapping, editing, and testing, I am now proud to present the sequel to The Defender Doom II Wad!!!

If you are not familiar with this or haven't checked out my first Wad, you can look here for more information!

It took a while to make and I even ended up taking a two month break because I was focused on making more Mystic Underworld material and the other fun project I mentioned that I've been doing with my friend. And I just became busy with some other areas of my life (work, school, family, etc.) that made me lose interest and motivation for a while which was actually a good thing because I came back to it with a clear mind.

As always, a few things to note:

- Requires ZDoom or one of those similar source ports and make sure you have the original Doom II Wad in the same file as well!

- It can be pretty tough so save often! :P

- Pretty typical Doom II Wad I'm guessing... If you're one of those hardcore Doomers expecting something new and groundbreaking, then you will most likely be disappointed, but if you still decided to check this out and maybe even actually enjoy it, then that's awesome! It features custom music, custom text screens, some custom graphics, some custom sounds, and it has a few custom imported monsters (later in the game) as well.

 - You might be a bit confused about the in-game text/story if you haven't played or read up on The Defender, but if you only care about the game-play, than it shouldn't be a problem for you.

Basic plot:
The Defender II picks up right where its predecessor left off... literally in the same place in the aftermath of the previous battle among the ruins! While you have dealt a great blow to the evil alliance, you have to escape and continue the fight against L.W.G.! You sense that he's somewhere not too far from you, so you must find a way to get to him and put an end to the madness once and for all!

While The Defender mostly took place in space/tech bases and ships and some bizarre labyrinths, The Defender II takes you through The Netherworld (Hell) where things can get pretty weird!

So, now that I have finally completed this Wad, I will probably be taking a break from Doom-building until I get some new ideas and inspiration for a new Wad. I already have some ideas for how the story will continue after the events of The Defender II, but there is a lot of planning to do with it and I don't want to just dive into it any time soon because I know I will get burnt-out quickly. I'm more focused now on my music again so I will be doing that while occasionally getting more ideas, and possibly beginning to edit the next Wad which will most likely be "The Defender III" which will be awesome because then I will have a trilogy! >:3 But until then, I hope some of you can enjoy my Wads as much as I enjoyed making them!
